This Strawberry Frozen Rosé is the perfect summertime drink! This simple recipe makes two servings but it could easily be multiplied for a crowd.
It has been oppressively hot in Texas lately. (Shocking news, I know.) Thankfully it waited until we got back from our family trip to San Marcus (and quick detour to Magnolia Market) before things really started to heat up. The fall countdown has begun, but in the meantime I will be over here chilling in the air conditioning with this Strawberry Frozen Rosé… the new unofficial drink of summer.
Llano Estacado Winery, located in Lubbock, Texas, reached out to me to partner on this post, and I was all “Yes, please! #allthewines”. (Because let’s be real, the back-to-school countdown has been on for WEEKS.) Llano wines are the perfect way to create refreshing cocktails and delicious dishes this summer. Llano wines are wonderful on their own as well as used in or paired with many different foods.
Llano Estacado is the largest, best selling Premium Winery in Texas and has been an ongoing pioneer in introducing not just Texans, but also the entire world to the great wines made in the Lone Star State. The winery produces approximately 50 variertals of wine, available for purchase statewide at your local retailer, or online at www.llanowine.com.
This Strawberry Frozen Rosé, or Frosé, as it is affectionately known, is part frozen fruit, part rosé, and all parts delicious. It’s basically an adult slushie and it is exactly what you need on a hot summer night! This is one of my favorite frozen strawberry recipes in the summertime!
What’s in Frozen Rosé?
To make this refreshing frosé recipe, you’ll need the following:
- Ice cubes
- Frozen strawberries
- Rosé wine
- Sugar
- Lemon-lime soda
How to Make Frosé
This frozen rosé couldn’t be simpler! Just add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until your desired consistency is reached.
Can I Make Frozen Rosé Without a Blender?
To my knowledge, you need to use a blender for this frosé recipe. You can’t use a food processor for this recipe as the motor isn’t strong enough.
Tips for Making Frosé
Depending on what consistency you’d like your frozen rosé to be, you may need to add a little more wine to the blender.
Likewise, feel free to add more or less sugar as you see fit. This recipe is easily customized!
Lastly, it goes without saying that you should use a good quality rosé wine for this recipe. The wine is the star of the show, so buy one you’ll happily drink.
