Someone asked me what our plans are for Spring Break this week. My answer: Surviving. Lucky for us, Isabella loves school. Not so lucky for me, she is bored with me by breakfast on days she doesn’t have school. Even some days on the weekends it’s tough to keep her engaged and occupied while doing the same for her much younger sister. We play a lot of card games and board games during nap time, but I am always looking for ideas to keep her busy on her own.
I’ve rounded up 25 Totally awesome kids activities that would be perfect to do over Spring Break (or even during Summer!). Most of these are indoor activities, which is great for this dreary extended winter we seem to be having here in Texas!
What are your plans for Spring Break? Do you take a big trip with the kids? Try to find local attractions to visit? … or just try to survive? 🙂
Another way I keep my kids busy (and out of my hair) during the summer / school breaks is with this DIY I’m Bored Jar!“

This is a really great round-up. Great ideas for spring break, snow days, rainy weather, whatever. I've pinned this to my boards and will be using a few of these with our break coming up. Thanks for sharing!
